DME Posting

Applications are invited for DME posting from B.Sc Nursing and GNM candidates, who are passed during the academic years 2015 to 2018. Candidates who have not done DME posting so far and not have completed one year can apply.

Research Day Celebration


Research Day Celebration was inaugurated by Dr.Valsamma Joseph, Former Dean Nursing, KUHS. Dr.Mercy Jacob , Assistant Professor felicitated on the occasion. A scientific session on “Scientific writing and publishing” was taken by Mr.Jasimudeen.S., Librarian, St.Stephen’s College, Uzhavoor.

Release of Research catalogue.

Research paper presentation were conducted on 28.06.2022 & the Best papers were awarded prizes on 29.06.2022.

Nationwide training of Nurses


Faculty and students of all batches attended Nationwide training of Nurses for capacity building for management of Covid 19 pandemic and preparations of Nursing Professionals against the third wave in a training programme by Govt. of India as part of which Kerala Government organized it.

Nurses Week Celebrations


Our students got overall trophy for sports competitions conducted in association with Nurses Week Celebrations at District level. Several students & teachers bagged prizes for cultural competitions also.


Divya J.S. of 8th batch, Veena J of 9th Batch Post Basic Diploma Nursing, secured 3rd rank in the Council Exams conducted in the respective years. They received their cash awards & certificates in the grand “Nurses Week celebrations” conducted at AKG hall, Thiruvananthapuram

Ms.Asha Mathew, (Advanced Nurse Practitioner and Service lead in Haematology) an alumni of Govt.College of Kottayam (1988-1992 batch), working in Buckinghanshire Health Care NHS Trust was recognised for her Exceptional service beyond her job role, was awarded with silver badge from Chief Nurses Office. (The silver award is intended to recognise nurses who go above and beyond the expectations of the role to support patients and their profession.
